Title: Godzilla 3D (And Godzilla is a female?)

OK, when did the sex change come into this?

Wow, did a little poking around that site and it seems like the sales of methamphetamines in Japan are on the rise. I don't mind a femal Godzilla, since he has a son but the other things are complete WTF ideas. Lets sound off a few of the head scratchers. Godzilla is hiding in a South American rain forest next to a giant waterfall. An alien that destroys chlorophil heads to New York City's garbage dump (because we all know, that is the BEST place to find chlorophil). The final battle is over who can squat on the 911 monument. It's in 3d at IMAX.

This could very well be the greatest movie ever made...
There is only problem. To paraphrase Joe Bob Briggs, there is too much plot in this one.

The convenient (sometimes, way too convenient) thing about Godzilla is you can make him (or her) in just about any mold you want. Just no CGI, please :(

How do you tell a giant radioactive lizard's sex? I'll leave someone else to add a punchline here...

What gets me is how the hell a creature that was effectively spawned by the atom bomb gets off trying to be the saviour of the enviroment... same goes for Mothra, who has also had gender confusion issues (some movies it's a "he", others a "she").

Yeah it's odd that Toho would allow Yoshimitsu Banno (who was accused of RUINING the franchise with his delightfully odd "Godzilla vs. Hedorah") a chance to work his "magic" all over again. I'm all for this project, but I think it should be made a little less kid friendly. Apparenly Banno and company have completely forgotten about the bastard child that is "Godzilla's Revenge?"

"same goes for Mothra, who has also had gender confusion issues (some movies it's a "he", others a "she")."

And in some movies, in larva form Mothra is a "he" but in moth form a "she."
I think this happened in "Rebirth of Mothra"

I always thought they were way too hard on Banno for G vs. Hedorah, if anything Jun Fukuda should be more liable, what with "Godzilla vs. Megalon" and "Godzilla on Monster Island" (AKA: Godzilla vs. Gigan for you newbies too young to remember the old, absurd titles these movies used to get when they were "Americanized" and put on late night television...)

Toho seems to run out of ideas for Godzilla fairly often these days... if it hasn't got Mothra or Mechagodzilla written in it, forget it. I'm still waiting for Godzilla vs. The Michelin Man or Behind the Zipper: true stories of suitmation accidents.
