Title: OT: Mind Control?
Post by: trekgeezer on August 04, 2005, 01:24:46 PM
I am the last person that would make fun of a mental illness, but these people really need to be on some serious medication.

I ran across the site quite by accident doing a search for something else. Make sure to check out the Totally Anonymous, Untraceable Questionnaire
for Mind Control/Electronic Harassment PERPETRATORS.

Great site. I am checking to see if anyone found an implant while performing self-trepination (drilling a hole in one's own head to encourage creativity).

Here's a site that explains mind-control via hypnotic methods that are used all the time in daily life. For example: Fundamentalist preachers, self-help gurus, infomercial people, company pep-rallies (I mean you wal-mart and microsoft), musicians, presidents, etc.

The article is pretty short. I found it a fast read because it is pretty informative.

Tells you why that preacher on the simpsons talks the way he du-uzzzzz-ah.

Oh, man.  Mind control?  Well that's just completely off the wall.  Do you know how hard it would be to program subliminal mind control messages into regularly broadcast programming?  Sure, most people will watch it with an uncritical eye, but those ever watchful eyes of the government would never permit such a thing to happen.  Especially if the technology was easily within reach of a dedicated mind control enthusiast, unlike myself.

Seriously, you would have to be one grade-A paranoid to believe in such a thing.  Like anybody would have the technology to broadcast a message such as "Buy Top Ramen" underneath a nationally syndicated episode of a worldly popular sitcom such as "Friends".  Perish the thought!

Listen, it would be best to put all of these forbidden thoughts from your head.  Trust me.  You wouldn't want your neighbors, good Top Ramen enthusiasts all, to look at you like a crazy person would you?

Haw haw!  Mind control!  What won't they think of next?

Who needs subliminal messages hidden in entertainment shows? Product placement in shows is so prevalent now, and growing by the day, why try to hide it? I read an article about how shows producers will work products into shows (think they used the example of then stylish apothecary chest furniture featured in the plot of a "Friends" episode) by contacting companies and letting them know of "opportunities" to feature their products for a price on upcoming shows. Never mind the old practice of actors doing commercials for products as their characters during the commercial breaks (you can find examples of this with old episodes of stuff like "The Beverly Hillbillies and even "The Andy Griffith Show"). Now the characters will use and mention the name of the product as a part of the story you're watching.

When "Survivor" debuted I read that the producers said the show was profitable even before it aired the first episode. Beyond the price for the commerical airtime, the entire cost of production was underwritten by companies mentioned or products featured in the show. They aid they would have turned a tidy profit even if the show had flopped and another season never aired.

You want something really surreal, track down one of the old commercials with the Flintstones pitching cigarettes.

I know exactly what you mean, though. No need for subliminal mind control when it can be put right in front of you.

Remember LOONEY TOONS: BACK IN ACTION?

The Wal-Mart mirage!
Bugs -" Is that a mirage?"
Daffy -" Who cares, with such convieniance at such low prices!"
Brendan F. -"Is this your idea?"
I S W - "...the audience expects it these days. nobody realy notices..."
Brendan - Glances at audience with an "Crap, i'm embarressed" look.
