THE HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK (1980) - Italian film starring the same guy that starred in THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT (1972) David Hess as another sicko. This whole film is also very disturbing. Can't believe that I had never heard of it till watching it tonight on DVD from Diamond Entertainment.

you might be surprised at how many off-shoots there were after "last house on the left". try "hitchhike" also starring david hess, and "last stop on the night train".
also, if i'm not mistaken, david hess wrote some of the songs in "last house on the left", and "sweetly, oh sweetly" from "house on the edge of the park".
am i the only person who thinks he might be the long-lost son of telly savalas?
The other sicko is Giovanni Radice (a.k.a. John Morghan). You may remember him from some of his roles in films like CANNIBAL FEROX, CANNIBAL APOCOLYPSE, and Fulci's CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD. He seems to be a favorite for really horrible things being done to his characters: various dismemberments and a drill through the head are the most well known. ^^ yeah thats true I think he wrote the entire LHOTL soundtrack/songs, and you can buy it off his website at www.davidhess.com
