Title: Need help on a name of movie

Ok my memory of this movie is very faded so please forgive me for not giving you more to go on

1.80's movie
The one part about this movie that sticks out for me that I never forget is this guy who is teaching a class of kids karate(pretty sure it's karate).Now,before the kids arrive he receives/has some stuff which consist of huge styrofoam(sp?) dumbell and weights and also some candy glass to impress his students.If I remember correctly he does shortly after show these things to the class and they are impressed.

Sorry I cannot remember anymore but this is one of those things I never forgot and have only seen once.
