Title: Copying Films

who here copys films from the video store? i know i do, stuff paying $29.95 for a video that comes from the 80s
dont get me wrong, i love b-movies, i just think they should be for sale for about $10 seeing as the ex-rentals arnt always that great quality

Friends of mine do it. And I've copied movies on occasion. Buying blank tapes and then copying a movie on to them is alot cheaper than dishing out a couple dozen smackers for a tape or DVD.

I prefer ownership to copies (off rental tapes and from cable).  I've done it a few times but that was only in extreme cases where a movie is out of print and expensive to buy used and if the movie is released I go and buy it

I am the king of bootlegging. I am way to poor to buy a new copy of bloodmoon, I am duplicating a copy.

I order free hair club for men VHS tapes and SLP shows on to them :)

There are so few movies in the world that I want to (or have time to) watch multiple times, that the idea of copying them just doesn't appeal to me.  Most of the movies I see aren't worth a two buck rental in the first place, much less another two bucks for a blank tape...
