Post by: Flangepart on December 31, 2001, 12:33:35 PM
How many movies use new years eve as a plot point? Or at least a location? I can think of maby two....can't remember the names!, but i know they existed.......anyway, what new years  resolution, related to B-movies, can you apply to your own life? For me, its to aquire, at the cheapest price, all the MST3K and 50's flicks on DVD. My DVD list so far : Flying Gillotine....Last space ship to venus/Voyage to a prehistoric planet double feature......Lucky luke ep.7 Grand delusion......Fists of Fury(with DA man, Bruce lee).....The monster that challanged the world.....The wild world of batwoman.....and one other(Oh, alzhimers!). Well, what do YOU have planed, boys and girls?

It's not really a B-movie but Strange Days takes place on New Years Eve.  I actually hoped that the real New Years for 1999-2000 would have similar mayhem levels as that flick.

There is also the severely dated before it even hit home video Arnie v Satan smackdown "END OF DAYS".  December 31, 1999, it ends as New Years strikes.

I was going to say New Years evil too as soon as I saw this post. A decent slasher film from the early 80s with a small role by Grant Cramer who would later play as Mike in Killer Klowns from outer space.

Strange Days aka How to almost instantly date your movie. And add to that it should have been set 2000-2001, but hey, they can't be bothered with facts.
