Sorry for the double post, but I need some help as well. What is number 5? I've seen this quiz before, and that's one I never could place.

I finally got them all! I found out that he was cheating too, but he was reading the coding behind it..ugh. I wouldn't want to know the answers to all but it was really hard geting work done today because i kept toggling back to the quiz racking my brain over some of those.

How the heck did they erase the people from the scene and leave the background in? I wonder how much time that took but I loved this quiz, it was very good exercise - would be fun to do with bmovies or more obscure movies if someone here had the know how. If you go to the Properties under File you can find the main website and there are alot of other cool quizzes there too (although i found the dvd cover one to be too easy)

#5 was easy for me, it was one of the first ones i got because i LOVE that movie..lol "Top secret"

How cool is this quiz!!  One of my cinema studies department ran a different version of this one as a competition last semester.  It drove me insane, but I finally got it out with the help from a few friends.

The one we have has some similar pictures in it, but there are some others as well [it has 72 pics not 60] but I don't know where the website is that they got it, so if you want a copy just email me and I can send it to you, that's if you are up for insane 'I KNOW THIS MOVIE WHAT IS THIS MOVIE!!!!' screaming for hours on end.

It's so damn obsessive, trying to do this isn't it?  It was so damn crazy...

Gotta love the effort that went into this, though I always keep thinking that they should through Hollow Man in there to try and trick people!

#44 is FIRST BLOOD.  It tricked me until I saw the beret in the background.

I'm currently at 50 out of 60.

But I got them all!!

Lexia, It's similar to the one Susan has [there are some of the same pics on it] but there are more movies on it, and a few tough ones [well for me anyway], I'll send it to ya as well, as I can to anyone who'd like a copy [since I don't know where to find it online] so just let me know in this thread or send me an email.

Also, Susan, I shot you off an email a few days ago which should answer all questions.

dean - will it never accept jerry maguire? lol

#28 i thought for the longest time was a wicker basonett or something for a baby. Upon closer examination i figured it out...lol  I was just looking at it the wrong way

#56 is very familiar and #45

#23 seems obscure, not familiar at all.

#19 looks like ben afflecks body or something.
#22 looks like whoopie goldbergs body but i suspect not.

argh! i got quite a lot tho

NEVER!!! Or at least not with some wierd and different spelling...  Maybe someone has to shoot Tom Cruise to make it work...

That must have bugged you!  This one was actually one of the first ones I 'got.'

> #56 is very familiar and #45

Yeah, when I was doing it, 56 seemed really familiar, but I never actually solved that one until I recruited more people into the fold [turns out I have never seen the film myself, so I wonder why it looked so familiar...]

A hint: 80's party movie.

45 was also one I didn't get until I looked in the background and realised what it was.  Its not that obvious a clue, but I just remembered that blackboard for some reason.

Yeah that was another tough one for me, got help on that one.

> #19 looks like ben afflecks body or something.

Looks like but isn't.  This one was impossible to solve, well for me anyway.

> #22 looks like whoopie goldbergs body but i suspect not.

I would definitely say no to that line of thinking... think slutty country girl out to make movies...

> argh! i got quite a lot tho

How many so far?  I got to about 50-55 before I started drawing blanks and recieved help from my friends.  It also drove me quite insane...

That was amusing until I realized you were talking about the other quiz.  If you look at #19 on the first quiz you'd be pretty hard pressed to think that that was Ben Affleck's body.

I can't open the file for this quiz for some reason.
I downloaded it but once I try to open it, my p.c. says it can't open that file type.

Do you have MS Excel? That's what it opens with on mine. I know not all computers come through with the Microsoft Office package and this is what the Excel program comes in.

whoever made that should at least spell the titles correctly ;-)

but for those who need to cheat i won't deny answers (http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-93105)

Perhaps it was a subtle commentary on all those Tom Cruise rumors.

I went ahead and put the second quiz (http://members.cox.net/rsteele27/film_quiz%201.xls) online.  That's on the webspace my ISP provides and as far as I know the bandwidth is pretty low.  So if the link stops working, well, nothing I can do.

Well now I know how to finish off the quiz!  I could have sworn that I tried doing it that way!

Anyway, there's something satisfying in knowing that you have finished it: even though I knew all the answers, having that one 'incorrect' sign was just so damn frustrating!
