Title: The OTS inducted into the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame
Post by: trekgeezer on October 23, 2005, 05:58:48 PM
That's the One True Shatner to you non-believers. Yes, Bill has yet another honor heaped upon his grand and bloated holiness.

Read the praises of his current boss on Boston Legal, David E. Kelley:

â€œWe feel so fortunate that William Shatner has added Boston Legal to his incredible body of work,” Kelley says. “He has made us laugh in the courtroom, entertained us in space, scared us in the Twilight Zoneâ€"and truly frightened us with his singing career. He's a true showman, a genuine icon, and a Hall of Fame man.”

Yes, the most holy toupeed one will now be remembered for two iconic roles, as Captain James Tiberius Kirk and legal legend Denny Crane!  (Oh yeah, there was also  that little naughty thing he did with Angie Dickinson that would most surely rate as unforgettable.)

People can knock Bill for his "singing", but I find his album Has Been to be strangely compelling.

I never heard or saw this album. Have you really listened to the album with Shatner and Nimoy Trek Geezer? Do you own it? I  would really like to.

I own an old AWA days album sung by Jesse "the body" Ventura. This was before his time with the WWF and I have a DVD with Lee Van Cleef singing the theme song for CAPTAIN APACHE. You have to love non-singers making albums.
