Title: LOOKING FOR OLD 1950'S MOVIE.
Post by: Peter Trinidad on October 26, 2005, 01:10:57 PM
Hi:
Does anyone remember this movie? I saw a movie in a show called Project
Terror around 1967-1969. The monster involved was a huge, dark veil of a monster and it was chasing some teenagers over a hill. As it chased them, it was cursing at them vengence and revenge. It did finally revenge itself on them.
The cars, hairstyles and teenagers seemed all to be from the 1950's.
I cannot remember the title for the life of me. Any ideas out there?
This monster was about 50-80 feet tall but was just a veil or a huge, dark shadow so I think it was supernatural. I saw it on a show called Project Terror on Channel 5 at around 10:30 p.m. on Fridays in San Antonio, Texas.

Thanks,

The finale of EQUINOX had just what you described, the "evil being" becoming a huge "veil" of a shape, but the movie was 1969/1970 and in color.

I thought about EQUINOX too, with the giant spectre and the running through the hills, but the year threw me off.

Hi:
You are right. Thanks so much for helping me to find this long lost movie from my childhood. When younger it was really scary but when you are grown up...well...its good to go back in time to those more innocent bump in the night when even King Kong would scare us.

Thanks again,

Peter
