Title: The Beast Must Die
Post by: Ed, Ego and Superego on October 30, 2005, 10:56:10 PM
I watched this on TV today (AMC Monstervision) and found it to be quite fun.  I love Peter Cushing.  It was a very polite werewolf film  and good fun.

Been wanting to see THE BEAST MUST DIE for a while now. Usually I catch those AMC goodies. This film is an Amicus production.

I thought it was an OK wolf movie and it was hilariously polite.  Overall, a decent time to kill.  I like a monster film that is not all gore, as is relatively well known.

Peter Cushing's always fun to watch in a horror movie; he had a style that's just right for the films he was in. I also caught him in The House That Dripped Blood... personally, I always liked him better than Christopher Lee. My favorite Cushing/Lee film was Dr. Terror's House of Horrors.

"The more exact translation is terror, an unfortunate misnomer for I am the mildest of men..."

Ironic that Cushing and Lee ended up both being part of the Star Wars saga....
