The voices in my head keep telling me to do stuff.
Well anyway I need help with a movie, all I remember about this film is that it had a bunch of killer kids and the main scene revolved around a birthday party and there was lots of blood. The film ended with the a child walking into his parents bedroom a la Halloween, waking his parents and then the titles come up with his parents screaming over the soundtrack.
Please tell me that this is a movie and not some repressed childhood 'incident'
There are some good meds for that, you know...
But seriously, that *might* be Bloody Birthday, written and directed by Ed Hunt of The Brain fame. It starred Jose Ferrer and Susan Strasberg, along with the kids. The poster/ad graphic shows a birthday cake with a hand reaching up out of it, and the fingertips are lit, like candles. I think I still have this on tape.

None of the scenes Darkstar described are in "BB". There is a birthday party, but no blood involved at the party, and the movie doesn't end with a boy, but with the sole killer who's a girl killing a man at a gas station.
Now, here's a dumb suggestion on my part, but could the movie be one of the "Children of the Corn" films? I have seen exactly one of them, and I can't recall *which* one. (I know, for a fact, it wasn't the first.) However, it does sound like something of that nature.
Hey, beats me, I hardly remember it, as I haven't seen it since it was released, back when I was working with Ed Hunt.
Kevin
...I thought "Bloody Birthday" at first, too, but after reading the rest of description, I don't think it can be it. The sub-genre's small enough, though, that the answer should be forthcoming.
As you said on another post:
"I'd like to tell you, but I saw it a LONG time ago, and the memory fades. I didn't like it well enough to ever watch it again. That's about all I can tell you."
My thoughts exactly.
Thanks guys, Bloody Birthday did come to mind and I was going to rent it a while back to see if it was the movie I was looking for.
Dang! My copy of the movie is currently lent out (to check the ending), but this could be "Demons 2."
Andrew
Sorry Andrew, but it's not Demons 2 (unless theres another Demons 2 that I dont know about, mind you theres at least a dozen Demons 3, everything from The Church to The Ogre)
Is it just me or is the scariest thing about Demons 2 is the fact that a bunch of teenagers are listening to Panic by The Smiths at a party, those crazy kids.
test
Definitely not Demons 2. I thought it was Beware, Children at Play at first until the birthday stuff came up. So really the only reason I posted was because I like Beware, Children at Play.
