Title: Weekend 60's Horror Party--Crashed
Post by: Chopper on December 19, 2005, 06:14:17 PM
so i eagerly awaited a couple of 60's schlock classics to arrive in the mail from netflix:

1. Astro Zombies
2. Horror Hotel

and low and behold low and behold horror hotel was cracked down the middle! fortunately i was able to watch Astro Zombies (yes the same film the Misfits named their song after).  this one was quite a doozy, a little MST3K commentary would have saved it at times.

anyone else out there caught these?

HORROR HOTEL is a good one and you can buy it for $1 just about anywhere Chopper. I'd purchase that one.

ASTRO ZOMBIES has eluded me as I have yet to see it. Had it qued up on my Netfix, but I ended my membership after being with them for 6 months. I have seen Ted Mikels THE CORPSE GRINDERS.

I should have Netflix again sometime in 2006.

yeah i would recommend Astro Zombies simply for the cult history behind it. for some reason the look of the film kept reminding me of Rob zombie's "more human than human" video.

as for THE CORPSE GRINDERS i've heard that's pure schlock, something about cats being turned into food, kinda like the fast food industry.
