Title: Thoughts on Netflix...?
Post by: Alan Smithee on December 31, 2005, 12:09:50 PM
I've been seriously been considering signing up to Netflix. I've found some rather hard to find bad movies on there. With a selection of 55,000 dvds, $9.99-$17.99/month, no late fees, up to 3 movies at a time, fast shipping, how can I go wrong?

You can't go wrong. Honestly.

I pay 17.99 per month for 3 DVDs at a time, and I'm fairly happy with it.  It sometimes takes days to receive the DVDs but it's well worth the price.

Got Netflix for Christmas.  Got my first three DVD's the day after they went out.  We are watching them tonight.

:)

You'll definately get your moneys worth with Netflix.

Netflix is awesome.  The ten dollar deal is one DVD at a time, but I generally get the DVDs turned around in two days, and that's plenty of pace for us.

There are some really obscure things available, too.  =)  Quite fun.

I get 4 DVD's at a time...23.00 a month.  I have about a day turnaround, and I love Netflix.

I can share my experiences with netflix. When it worked well it was great. But then came the dvds that were too scratched to play, which i can see them not noticing.  What i cant see them missing was several that came cracked from center to edge so they looked like the letter C.  Then the two i sent back that they never recieved and almost billed me for.  It was a 6 month gift subscription so i wanted to cancel before the 6th month ended and they bill me, had to call there offices to cancel.  Im not sure if thats still the method but at that time it was. Took about 2 minutes after being on hold for 15.  They did have a pretty big selection, and like I said, when it worked right it was convienient and I liked it, but not enough to wait for them to "not recieve" a few more dvds and charge me full price for a old dvd.

I have never rented a DVD.  It's some sort of psychological problem.  I must BUY, BUY, BUY everything.  AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
