Read my Gi-normous review for 1976's killer bear movie Grizzly (http://www.bmoviegraveyard.com/reviews/Grizzly/).

I remember watching this film on television as a child.  For weeks I was terrified that a huge man-eating grizzly bear was going to tear me to pieces.  Funny, considering little Andrew grew up in Delaware.

The comparison between "Jaws" and "Grizzly" was a good one.  Even as a little boy, I remember thinking that "Grizzly" was just "Jaws," but with a bear.  I had not realized there were so many, ahm, amazing similarities between the two films.

You also have to love the idea of a bear so massive that only a bazooka could stop it.   Girlder knew how to make a film that was entertaining, for whatever reason.  It is a real shame his career was cut short.
