Title: Golden Dragon, Silver Snake Post by: Kurt on February 07, 2007, 06:44:26 AM This movie is super awful, the worst version is included in a 2 disc, double sided, Dragon lee tribute 4-pack from bci eclipse. You can hear the audio technition (is that how it's spelled?) through the entire film! Also, the movie is directed by Godfrey Ho, so it's grade Z. I seen it on sale in a second hand store for £1 and when I seen it was directed by Godfrey Ho himself, well, the movie bought itself. I love the random fight near the start between the Oriental guy and the black dude who looks IDENTICAL to Eddie Murphy; it's so unecessary yet so, so goddamn funny. Yet for my best part, it hands down has to be when the big boss man who is innocently stroking his cat (a furry white one no less; Dr Evil would be proud), suddenly THROWS it at the henchman who failed the mission. We had to rewind that at least 5 times. I could talk about this movie all day but words do no justice whatsoever to the brilliance of the Ho-meister.
I refuse to use his first name anymore as surely him having a name with the word God in it is as blasphemous as you could possibly get... |
