Is there no rapper left who speaks from actual experience? First it was the studio thugs, and now this. Cookie Monster hasn't eaten a carrot in his life. What a poseur! Haha.

Title: Re: Sesame Street Moment Post by: JPickettIII on August 08, 2007, 11:37:06 AM I believe that the Cookster was under pressure from the faction groups so their kids will stop eating junk food while playing on the computer or Playstation or what ever.
I you will also notice, Burt and Ernie do not have the same bed, this is because of the religious factions thinking that it would promote homosexuality. Some people need to just realize that we can all make our own choices, especially concerning our kids. My son does not play with a Playstation and he watches little T.V. I feel that instead of blaming Cookie Monster for making my son fat (he is actually skinny) I will make a conscious effort to keep him healthy and not blame Cookie Monster, McDonalds or whatever. Just my two cents. John Title: Re: Sesame Street Moment Post by: HappyGilmore on August 08, 2007, 09:35:06 PM I loved Sesame Street as a kid. I realize it's educational tv, but that doesn't mean it can't be entertaining as well.
They kill shows anymore. The Weird Al Show had a shot, but they sent so many notes to him that it killed all the good jokes, just to reinforce the 'educational' part. I loved Sesame Street in the '80s though. |
