The moment those pompous asses Ebert, Siskel, or even Roeper for that matter (not to mention Leonard Maltin ::cringe::) showcase any understanding of what makes a movie entertaining... is the moment pigs not only fly, but also shoot lasers out of their schlongs and sneeze Sixlets. They shouldn't even bother reviewing movies they are ill-equipped to understand.

Douche bags. Especially Siskel. I hope he's become reincarnated as an Ulli Lommel picture.

I like 'em.
I very rarely agree with 'em but they do work well together.

Ebert hates Spice World...he's not that bad.

I really like Ebert, at least (not crazy about Siskel, R.I.P.).  When Ebert dislikes a movie, he at least gives a good reason why, so I can decide whether I agree with his reasoning.  He will also reasses movies that he originally panned, like NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, when he realizes he was wrong.

He won my heart with this quote (paraphrased) about DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978): "Some in my audience will ask why I defend filth like DAWN OF THE DEAD.  I don't defend it.  I praise it."

Wow... That's quite an image.

Phooey to the lot of 'em, that's what I say. Give me the likes o' Joe Bob Briggs, Chas Balun, Chris Alexander, n' G. Noel Gross any day of the week.

I'd take Ebet, Siskel and Roeper over Harry "I am all that is wrong with the world" Knowles, any day.

I can't stand "Ain't It Cool News" :hatred:

I don't know... I think they just don't appreciate cheese in movies... usually I agree with them.
