Title: Your favorite guitar solos? Post by: voltron on December 28, 2009, 02:55:18 PM This is an offshoot of the "favorite guitarist" thread. Pretty self explanatory. My favorite solos are:
David Gilmour (Floyd) - "Your Possible Pasts" Mantas (Venom) - "Buried Alive" Michael Denner / Andy LaRoque (King Diamond) - "A Mansion In Darkness" Zakk Wylde (Ozzy) - "No More Tears" Scott Gorham / Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy) - "Bad Reputation" Dave Murray / Adrian Smith - "Sea Of Madness" or "Alexander The Great" Gregor Mackintosh (Paradise Lost) - "Embers Fire" But my all time favorite solo has to be, oddly enough, the guitar solo in Tears For Fears "Shout" - it's so simple, but it fits the song perfectly. It's constructed like a mini-symphony.
