Title: Good websites to look for freelance video/film work?
Post by: akiratubo on May 10, 2011, 09:37:52 PM
Now that I'm all graduated and have my own facilities at home, I was hoping to get some freelance work.  I can film, write, edit video and sound, do effects, simple animation.

Where do you all shop for your freelance work?

While you're at it let me know!

The only real paid jobs I've gotten so far is from people I met at university, or worked on other projects for.  I'm not sure what your options are in the U.S but sometimes you need to slog it out and do some favours for free for people and once they start getting used to you and get paid work they may drag you along too since hopefully you do good work and are reliable.  That's what I've found so far anyways.

What facilities do you have at home in particular?
