Title: Band Names Post by: Flick James on February 29, 2012, 03:02:16 PM I have been in some bands with unusual or humorous band names. Also, being in a band, I've known and played with some bands with unusual or humorous band names. That was always one of my favorite parts of starting a new band, coming up with a band name. Here are some of the names of bands I've been associated with or a member of.
Oedipus Tex Rude Buddha The Love Gravy Project The Clints (a 3-piece where all members were fictitiously named Clint) El Pollo Elastico (spanish for The Rubber Chicken) Hot Diggity Dogma (we actually fought back and forth between that an Hot Dignity Dog, resulting in a coin toss) Das Booty (a funk band, naturally) Men in Uniform (except they all wore white female nurse's uniforms) Cowboys in Pajamas (yes, a country band that all wore pajamas, with cowboy hats and boots of course) What are some of your favorite band names you've come across? One was "Barney Rubble and the C*nt Stubble" and the other was "Buster Hymen and the Cherries."
