Title: American Horror
Post by: Living_Dead_Girl on February 11, 2013, 05:36:18 AM
I watched some off the first series on TV now the Asylum season is on TV. I must admit I at first thought it was a story off many little stories. Like the twilight zone was. And then when I found out it was not, I thought it was just a show with no story just being all edgy, and strange with sexy things and people in it. Then I finally realised it is all about a house. Even before I realied this though I did enjoy the show it is entertaining and disturbing in the blackest humour possible.

I must admit I am getting hooked on this show. And I am not intirly sure why! But what the heck right?

I really enjoyed the first season!  I liked how it was a bunch of stories all revolving around the house, but as the season kept going it got a little too strange for my taste and I started to lose interest.

I watched the second season and I made it almost to the end of it, I still have the last two or three episodes to watch.  The second season was much harder to follow, because there were so many side stories.  My friends and I joked that it seemed like someone had a white board and people just wrote down random ideas and they threw them all into the second season.

I haven't seen much but my housemate enjoyed the hell out of the second series so that's good enough for me!

The opening credits sequence is one of my favorites.

Much like the writting team for Family guy.

It's funny how housemates alter our choice off TV/Movies/Music and Often choices off alcoholic beaverages depening on your age group and/or lifestyle.

How easy or difficult would you say it is for someone to just start watching it, if they haven't been so far.  This and Game of Thrones are two series I wanted to follow but time and other factors kept me from seeing the first seasons they've had.  I know that GOT really needs you to know its characters and story lines to really know whats going on-but would I be totally lost if I just started watching any episode of this?

You don't need to watch the first season for AHS.  The seaons are two different stories in two different time periods.
