Title: EPIX DRIVE-IN
Post by: alandhopewell on December 10, 2013, 05:29:40 PM
I just recently spent an additional $7 a month on satellite tv to get the EPIX package. Four channels, three of which show recent films; however, the fourth one, EPIX DRIVE-IN, is worth the additional money all by itself.

     So far, we've seen....
GODZILLA ('54 version)
BLACULA
TRUCK TURNER
ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS
GODZILLA'S REVENGE
LEPRECAUN 2
NIGHT OF THE COBRA WOMAN
BLACKENSTEIN

They even have a Friday night double feature program hosted by Tom Savini.

This is a real treat! I'm getting to see movies that haven't been on tv in years. "Attack of the Crab Monsters" was a hoot!

We get Svengoolie on WZME (MeTv) at 10 PM every Saturday night. Last week's feature was King Kong Escapes.  Mostly Svengoolie shows the old Universal movies and has a ball with live-action wraparounds where he tells movie factoids, bad jokes, and gets attacked by flying rubber chickens, lol  Even though WNEW 5's Creature Features and WPIX 11's Chiller Theatre are history, Svengoolie makes sure the Saturday night monster movies is alive and well!
