Title: The Forest (2016)
Post by: ER on October 03, 2017, 05:08:51 PM
An insult to human intelligence and to horror as a genre. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 0. I'd rather bite my tongue twice during my next meal than again sit through this, and I would sacrifice a small animal if I could warn myself in the past not to see this film.

Five more constructive things to do instead of watching The Forest:

Clean your toothbrush
Learn the capitals of two new African nations
Debate a rabid neocon
Give a wolverine a pedicure
Subscribe to a dying periodical

I'd sooner see Crossroads, Showgirls, Howard the Duck, or Ishtar every day for one week than see The Forest again.

I'd rather listen to Miley Cyrus.

The best part was the closing credits and the worst was the ninety-three minutes that came before.

I would give this DVD to the poor but I wouldn't want to subject them to it when their lives are hard enough, so instead am sending it to North Korea since they already have one bomb, so why not another?

So what I am hearing is that you did not like this movie?

I thought it was OK, not great, but not terrible.
The Japanese explored the theme of the Suicide Forest much better in a movie entitled GRAVE HALLOWEEN, albeit without the hotness of Anne Dormer.
