Title: ANNOUNCEMENT: Locking long threads Post by: Rev. Powell on February 13, 2020, 04:04:42 PM Just a heads up. I read on the forum devoted to Simple Machines Forums that long threads should be locked to reduce stress on the server.
Since we don't want the forum to crash, I'm going to start locking threads over 65 pages long. I'll start continuation threads and post redirections each time. I will be doing them slowly. I know this is a little annoying, but it's standard practice in the forum business. Sorry for any inconvenience.
