I don't have HBO Max and really don't want another streaming service. I like going to the movie theaters, and its one of the things I really missed during the pandemic. Pretty much means I'm not seeing Wonder Woman 84 until it comes to DVD or Amazon Prime or one of the ones I due have. Hopefully by May, I and enough other people will have goten vaccinated to the point I'll feel safe to go out. I want to see Godzilla vs Kong in theaters.

You can add this person to a list of those who are not happy, as for the rest . . . From what I hear, it'll only be about two weeks till you can see Wonder Woman 84 in theaters. It's been rescheduled, rescheduled, rescheduled, but, now it is suppose to be released till theaters on Christmas Day to maximize its earning potential. And one better hope, again from what I hear, that to be effective, that 60% to 70%, if not more, people have to be vaccinated for the vaccine to be effective. Pixar is hiring. Beginning in 2021, you'll see 15 animated, live-action, and/or Pixar films + 15 animated, live action, and/or Pixar series on Disney+. That is beside Marvel and Star Wars films and series, including an Oble Wan Kenobi with Ewan McGregor in the titular role. And while these films are to be released on the streaming service, the Walt Disney Company will continue to make films to be released exclusively to theaters, only to be seen on their streaming service, after a certain time lag. But, what do I know? More as it becomes available. But, it'll be interesting to see whether Warner and their HBO Max will get any pushback from the cinema chains and the rest of Hollywood. |
