hi, I search for a title of a horror/sci-fi movie, i  saw it many years ago that's why I don't remember many details; however I put below what comes to mind:

• -*- probabily european (german?)
• -*- a guy tries to go the surface from the underground level of a building / laboratory
• -*- there are crazy killers who make it more fun (not monsters/zombies but only crazy people)
• -*- the protagonist is a man
• -*- the first 7-8 minutes are in complete darkness with a crescendo of rales of the protagonist who with difficulty comes out of an unspecified mud
• -*- the film will be from the 2000s
• -*- in the central part of the film the co-star, a woman, joins in the hope of surviving
• -*- I think that at the end the woman is killed by the protagonist in an act of madness ???

I would like to watch it again to see if it was a crap or if it had something good. thx
