Title: Trick R Treat (2009) Post by: WingedSerpent on October 11, 2021, 05:35:09 PM Watched this last night as part of my Halloween viewing. Its directed by Michael Dougherty, who would later go on to make G:KOTM 2019. He's got a real eye for film design. I really liked the visuals of the movie.
Its a sereis of four somewhat interconnected stories about Halloween night in a small Ohio town. Its decently scary. I've seen scarcer but it is enjoyable. I'd say give it a watch. I'll get to "Halloween Kills" eventually, but I've seen most of the earlier films so many times that I rarely revisit them nowadays. I did enjoy Halloween, until the big plot twist and then it just killed it for me. I'll watch Halloween Kills eventually, but it might be a while. Have you seen the petition to cut the killing of firemen out of the movie?

however I rewatched it maybe about 3 years ago and to be honest I found that it dragged a lot more than I remembered. perhaps I just wasn't in the right mood. might have to give it another shot this haloween |
