I mean, I like Christmas, but how can the market possibly support such an infusion of cookie-cutter crap? Simple: they're targeted at an audience. These audiences can be really specific. Think of Sun Classic Pictures; they focused on conservatives families, but they sub-divided that audience into smaller segments. Conservative families who like animal films; conservative families who like miracle films, etc. These aren't just Christmas movies; they're Christmas movies for people who like Reba, who like kittens, who want a cheese love story, etc. Title: Re: Christmas crap Post by: Rev. They are like alternative reality movies or wishful thinking fantasy movies. They always try to be heartwarming and inspiring but they usually come off fake like press on nails.
