I believe it depends on the type of spider and that some have more than others. 8 is the most common number but some species have 2, 4, 6, 8 or even none at all for some cave-dwelling versions.

I'm told "trivia" comes from the fact the Romans would post news and announcements where three roads intersected: a tri-via.

I'm sure of what I asked but gave the benefit of the doubt to your answer, so, no, Christopher Marlowe is wrong. Shakespeare died the morning after a night of hard drinking, a detail about which English teachers seem oddly silent.

Nope, it was from a lable on an audiotape Lucas was asked to hand a sound man. R2D2 stood for 'reel 2 dialague 2''. Lucas was working on star wars and was noting ideas he came across and since droids would have alphanumeric names he copied r2d2 down in a notebook.

Yes, Grover Cleveland served non-consecutive terms, making him the 21st and 23rd President.

I am not sure on the VP question - some Presidents had more than one (Jefferson and FDR, I know for sure), a few had none (Tyler, Fillmore, and Andrew Johnson, plus a couple others).
I'm gonna guess . . . 49?

The filming of The Wild Geese was permitted if (and only if) the apartheid government allowed the filming to happen without any stupid apartheid laws on set: the government agreed to this and for three months in this country, there was no apartheid, at least on that film set.

It was filmed here in 1977:
