My 7 year old son is aware of my love of zombie movies, and seems to share my interest in zombies, despite the fact that I won't let him watch any of them yet. Mind you there is a tv show called Vampires, Pirates & Aliens that gets close sometimes.  There are also several Simpsons episodes which have zombie references.... We have had many philosophical debates about zombies, and vampires, and death, and all sorts of other stuff that I was kinda surprised he was interested in talking about, but I was quite happy to do so as I took it as a sign of a slightly twisted mind (like mine!). Was fun explaining to him the difference between murder and manslaughter the other night.... (He asked, sort of....)

So far the closest I have got to watching bad movies with him is the original King Kong (looking forward to getting the new one in time for Easter) and Monty Python's Holy Grail.  He spent the next few days walking around chanting and hitting his head with a book after that.   I'm really looking forward to deciding that the time is right to show him The Blues Brothers and Wayne's World.  The time will be soon, I am sure.   From there it is not a big step to show him whatever crap I want to....  (Insert evil laugh here!)

Coolest.  Dad.  Ever...

Oh and you really have to get him started on the old Harryhausen films, such as the good ol' Sinbad movies.  They're always a good start for the young [methinks].

Also, the more he walks around chanting and beating his head, the more he will be able to appreciate our kind of movies.

Ah, yes. Thinkin' the same thing.
But Katie MUST have a sence of humor...need i says why, hummm?....

Great review, Andrew. I'll take anythink you can fit in on your scedual. Don't forget how many shorts were prime material for MST3K!

Baby Batter.....EECHHHH!

Katie does not read the reviews, from what I know.  She usually can deal with suffering through some of these movies, but does not rejoice in them.  However, she usually knows what I am going to write about them.  I'll ask her to read this one, if she has time in the near future.

On the subject of the "baby batter" paragraph, some of what I have run into through the years in the Corps must show in a lot of my writing.  I think that most of the Marines would chuckle at the writing.

You should probably stick to subjects that you are familiar with.  The USMC is not one of them.

Yes, it is true that I seldom read the reviews.  I feel I have done my duty by simply watching the "films".  I have read the review for Test Tube Babies.  I am not exactly sure why the third paragraph should bother me.  I think it bothers my father since I am not aware he has ever recieved his livestock.  Although...we did eat steak at our rehersal dinner!!!!

Yea, Katie!
She who he must obey!
Hope thing are going well, kiddo!
