Finally saw 'King Kong Lives' on t.v.!!!!!!!!!!

Man oh man, this movie was a classic. Pathetic on every level. It screams MST 3000 all the way.

What I don't get is why the producers felt the need to make a sequel to the 1976 remake, which was considered a debacle. Even this movie had the same director as the '76 Kong.

'King Kong Lives' makes 1976 King Kong look like a masterpiece.

I enjoy it too, but probably not the way the producers intended it to be enjoyed.
It's soooo bad, it's GOOD.

You think the regualr version is goofy? Try watching the dubbed version they put on Telemundo or one of those hispanic channels every so often... God, now that's MST3K at it's best... or worst, depending on your tastes. By contrast, the dubbed version of Predator isn't half bad.

Oh yeah the Telemundo spanish dubs are hilarious.

And I thought a lot of Martial Arts movies were crapply dubbed.

I should watch this one again... last time I was on my teens and only focused on Linda Hamilton showing her breasts. But even then I could notice the cheese. I mean, there are probably better sentences in order to pick up a scientist than "We're also primates."

Ahem!....but this movie is funny!
Just the scene where the wheel out the Volvo sized heart is a scream.
And guys, i recomend this in French....LOTS of b-flicks are funnier in French...ya want proof?
Try the 60's BATMAN in French! That'll make you chainsaw the Frommage!

I would think the words "60's Batman" are an automatic cheesefest. BAP! SOCK! SPOON! I remember seeing that show as a child and thinking, "Gosh, this is kind of embarrasing for these people to be part of..."
