Do they make keyboards for laptops that you can plug into the usb port?

Try this:
Start>Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>On Screen Keyboard

It's not as good as having a Keyboard, but it should help until you can find a replacement.

Do you have you any idea how long it took me to type this one message with the on screen keyboard? I feel like Stephen Hawking with a speech impediment.
