CRYPT OF THE LIVING DEAD - This film has some style to it early in  the film , and the silent Vampire lady in the crypt is ok, and they try to give us a good ending. Overall this film dosn't really work that well and is bit of a time waste even for me. The Classic Chilling 50 pack has a b/w copy it in their set. The film was shot in color and for some reason the 50 pack has a b/w copy. Note that the film is shot in Turkey and is a USA/Spain co-production. Some decent moments. My dislike of this film might have more to do with the copy that had bad audio and the copy is b/w instead of the color film that it was made in.

The Burgomaster

Hmm . . . I;ll have to dig out my 50 movie pack and watch this one.  I don't understand why it is in B&W when almost all of the movies in the Chilling Classics set are in color.  What a disappointment.

So far my Chilling Classic 50 movie set has been good, this just wasn't one of my favorite of the bunch. There are some neat moments in CRYPT OF  THE LIVING DEAD even though it's a messed up copy. You can even tell when they made the commercial breaks from their source which is probably videotape on this film.
