So...here I am in an angry mood at work and I'm listening to Overkill to increase my anger...Anyway, at the beginning of a song, the use a sampling from what sounds like a movie. Unfortunately I don't have the case for this CD so I can't check it to see if any mention is made of the movie.

There is a guy talking...rather, yelling...he says:

"Oh, you up against it now, motherf***er...You think you're big time? Well, you're gonna f***in' die...bigtime!....You ready?....Here come the pain!"

I know it's not much to go on but does anyone have any ideas?

a '70s blaxploitation movie?
almost sounds like it might be a Shaftesque dialogue.

For some reason, I thought of CARLITO'S WAY when I read this.  Didn't Carlito say this to Benny Blanco (played by John Leguizamo)?
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Wow Burgo...I think you hit it...I have the live version of that song also and they play a lot longer bit in front of the song than on the regular album...according to IMDB quotes from the movie, it fits almost dead on with the longer version:

" I'm reloaded! Okay? Come on in here, you motherf***ers! Come on, I'm waitin' for ya! What, you ain't comin' in? Okay, I'm comin' out! Oh, you up against me now, motherf***ers! I'm gonna blow your f***in' brains out! You think you're big time? You gonna f***in' die big time! You ready? HERE COMES THE PAIN! "

Thanks for coming up with that. I figured someone here should know.

You listen to Overkill?
You just went up a notch in my book odinn!

I used to listen to their stuff all the time and loved it.
At one time way back when, Overkill and Exodus were two of my favorite bands.
I haven't listened to either of them in years.

I had this album:
The Years of Decay

Wasn't there a song titled, "f**k You!" on that Overkill album?

I might have to pick that album back up on CD.
(I have no idea where my cassette tape of it went)

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of old RATT.
Good stuff!

Odinn:

Now that you have printed the longer version, I'm SURE it's from CARLITO'S WAY.  However, I don't think it is from a scene between Carlito and Benny Blanco.  I think it's from the scene when Carlito is hiding in the bathroom and his pistol is out of bullets.  He yells these things to scare the guys in the other room who are trying to kill him.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

That's certainly it Burgo...thanks for the help.

Ash- F**k You is a song on an Overkill album of the same title. The Years Of Decay is a good album too but doesn't contain that song. If you're looking for a good...great...Overkill album, you want WFO from 1994...excellent album and it happens to be the one that the song that inspired this thread is on.
