Ever seen this movie? What's the name?

I am searching for a movie that was probably done in the 60' is not the 70's.  The movie as far as I can remember had an alien or monster that was all red and had one eye.  The monster/alien was captured and put into a prison cell.  The crew then put a universal translator in front of the monster/alien and it began to sing a song.  The song went, "I want to eat your face, your face would be so yummy... if it was in my tummy."  The monster/alien began doing a song and dance while singing this song.  I know that I have seen the monster/alien on a UPN commercial advertising the station, but they do not do but a 1 second clip.

I remeber this movie! I was laughing my stupid ass off! It's a little scary that a movie would try really hard to be this goofy.
