Trek Geezer has been giving us some good leads to upcoming movies.

300
Feast
Grindhouse

Here are a few that I've been keeping an look out for:

Apocalypto
Letters from Iwo Jima

Anyone looking forward to any new films?

I'm going to try to get at least my daughter (hard to get the wife to a movie)  to go with me next weekend to see The Prestige, Batman Begins really made a Chris Nolan fan out of me. Plus I want to see David Bowie's treatment of Nikola Tesla.

One of my brothers is a real amatuer expert on the Aztecs, Mayans, and Incas so I may treat him to Apocalypto. You can hate Mel if you want to, but the guy is good a making historical dramas. I understand that the whole movie is in Mayan.

Flags of our Fathers looks like a good one too. It and Letters from Iwo Jima are companion movies. Letters tells the story of Iwo Jima from the Japanese perspective and was also directed by Clint Eastwood.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Why 2007 will be a great year for movies.

This list gives me great hope for next year.  Some great films on there.

Yeah, but the style is all-american. It would be a completely different movie if this was actually made by a Mayan, instead of somebody who had an interest in Mayans. I would like to see a different film style than what I already know Mel Gibson will be using. Watch the trailer and tell me what you think.
