Okay, I've got a really stupid question. How does one view the template?

I've got something cooking for ATOM AGE VAMPIRE that would fit your review format quite well, and I don't see the template (I'm obviously missing something).

The template should show up as a .txt file attached to the first post in this thread. It's just above my signature, and might blend in with the signature because of that.

Okay, forgive me for being dense, but I don't see anything right above your sig except for the "modify" icon, Report to Mod and Logged over the far right.

Here's a screen shot. If it's not clear enough, let me know. I'll try to get something better.

Wild, but I think I found the cause of the problem. Hopefully now you should be able to see the attachment.

Nope. First post still looks like the screen cap I posted.

I cleared my browser cache, just to see if that was messing things up on this end..did not help.

Curse this problem! I posted it inside of code tags to work around the issue.

This is all very weird Ulthar, because I checked the post just out of curiosity and I can see the link to the template. Andrew, could it be an OS or browser issue on Ulth's end?

Firefox 2.0.0.13 on Mandriva 2008.1 (Spring). Shouldn't be too off the wall.

FWIW, I do see photo attachments on another SMF board I frequent, if that means anything at all.

Should we split this off to Trouble Tickets?

Definitely logged on. I virtually never browse the site without being logged in. The screenshot posted above was taken while logged on.

Hey wait!! It's there now. The template is there in the 'code' tag.

It wasn't earlier...honest (maybe I had to exit Firefox to REALLY clear cache?).

Funky, I think that this must have been a mix of two issues. One was that I had the forum set not to allow .txt attachments. Two that perhaps your browser was not rendering the attachment, which I believe is handled by javascript.

Hmmm. Interesting. I do have js enabled (smily insertion works, for example). In any case, I can see the template now in the code tag text.
