I had just read this and was amused as well.  There are some things that a shoplifter might be able to get away with, given the right clothing.  A guitar does not seem to be one of them.

Ever notice that nobody ever tries this sort of thing with large, exotic pets?  I mean, when was the last time somebody tried to steal a three foot long iguana by stuffing it in their pants?
