Quatermass and the Pit aka Five Million Years to Earth

I have been looking for an affordable copy of this one for some time but have only found used VHS at $60-70!  Do I seek in vain, or just not the right sources?

If you can play European DVDs, you can get a fine version of the film at Xploited Cinema, or import it from a British website. It is anamorphic (unlike the US disc), but lacks the audio commentary (My review of the disc).

I've gotten several great copies of this through the back pages of Fortean Times magazine -- A British publication, but they will sell things that play on American players --
And I didn't spend $60 either! . . . Great movie . . .

I have a Hammer Collection VHS of this puppy.
Great film. First saw it in study hall, dureing lunch room in High School. We had some GREAT b stuff there! Spegetti westerns, monster flicks, the lot.
