More government stupidity!

I know all you male US citizens know about the Selective Service, that federally mandated registration for a draft that is never going to happen.

This poor guy is losing his career because the VA didn't check his Selective Service status when they hired him, and no one ever told him he had to register when he came to this country (I wasn't aware that resident aliens had to register). Because of a snafu, he can never work for the government again.
