I'm one of those for whom she spins clockwise/counterclockwise an equal number of times.  The funny thing about this thread is, when ToyMan posted the original I noted she was spinning clockwise.  I read some replies and Derf's sig came up and... counterclockwise!  Scrolled up to the original post and... still clockwise!  So maybe the poster sets the direction, depending on the analytical or creative tone of their post?    (Icon twirling clockwise for me).

BTW, glad to see I'm not the only one who has wasted away minutes staring at that thing! 

Want a real time wasting challenge.  See how many rotations you can get in the opposite way without having her go back to the way your're used to seeing her.  I can get up to 10 to 20 counter clockwise before she goes back to her clockwise madness.

It fascinates me.. lol. I see it both ways. I even took the gif into its individual parts to see if is made to go back and forth.... and it ain't. Only enough frames to rotate once... its all in my head.... cool pic :)
