Viewed the film TORMENTED (1960). It is a great film in my opinion, but I better be careful after the HIDIOUS SUN DEMON and FIEND WITHOUT A FACE controversy earlier. The film was in the league of 13 GHOST and CARNIVAL OF SOULS. It was very effective in creating a atmosphere of guilt in the character of Tom Stuwart. Any one see this neat film called TORMENTED?

I bought a copy of it in a SOMETHING WEIRD VIDEO dvd called MONSTERS CRASHED THE PAJAMA PARTY (spook show spectacular) that has so many wacky extra's that  you must see. It shows a history of the old theater spook shows and posters and commentary from some of the people who put on the spook shows between movies at the theater in the old days.

By the way I'm going to give FIEND WITHOUT A FACE another chance some day. I seen almost the whole film except the climax at he end, but I had seen clips of the film in the past, so I didn't go back and see the end of the film. The first hour of the film was tough movie viewing.

p.s. ................  the dvd MONSTERS CRASHED THE PAJAMA PARTY comes with two sets of 3-D glasses and a booklet of the spook shows of old.

Monsters crashed the spook show spectaclar is really a fun dvd once you get into everything. I bought mine a few months back. I felt as though tormented was just thrown onto the disc as a last minute extra though. I liked tormented also but I think quite a few people3 hate this movie for some reason. Some of the stuff on the dvd is really amatuerish but a lot is pretty interesting and that gallery is pretty extensive. Liked the menus just wish they were labeled.

the history of the spookshows was interesting. Its something I've only heard about over the past year or so.
