Just got this email in.  I have two DVD-Rs from their collection, "Mystery on Monster Island" and "The Revenge of Dr. X."  The quality of the first is actually pretty good, I'd say better than Diamond or Brentwood DVDs.  The second DVD-R is about the same as you would expect of a Diamond or a Brentwood disc, but I did not see any artifacts from compression or encoding.

I do have an affiliate account with them, which is reached by: http://retroflicks.com/shop/store?mv_pc=bmorg

However, my real reason to send this out is is seems like a pretty good deal.  I keep thinking about getting a few more DVD-Rs from them.  Remember that these are DVD-Rs, so your player must be able to play such discs.  One of my first thoughts was that these were bootlegs, but their info page specifically addresses this and says that all titles are either public domain, owned by RetroFLICKS, or licensed.

Some nice titles on that site.  I have THE REVENGE OF DR. X as part of a Mill Creek 50 Movie Pack.  I watched it a few  months ago and I seem to remember that the quality was pretty decent, especially for the price.

Your first thoughts would be quite correct - one only need look at their selection.  Most obvious are their releases of X: THE MAN WITH X-RAY EYES and IT! THE TERROR FROM BEYOND SPACE (both owned by UA/MGM with the latter currently available on a double-feature disc with MONSTER THAT CHALLENGED THE WORLD).  I'm sure that not all of their titles are illegally reproduced, but their statement about their titles is not entirely correct either.

Kindest regards,
