Well, at least it didn't have wings.

Honestly, what sort of jerk dumps a piranha into a river?  They obviously had it as a pet and decided they didn't want it anymore.  So, what to do with it?  Boil it on the stove?  Toss it in the yard until it stops flapping?  No, let's drop old Snaggletooth Sam into the creek - we never swim there anyway...

I'm from NC, and trust me...the people from Catawba area are not always the smartest in the world.  I have no doubt that whoever had the fish was keeping it as a pet. 

It is sad that this story doesn't surprise me...

The problem is that he is not being specific.  I'm not sure if I should be staying away from the garden or the river.
