don't know if any one noticed but badmovies.org is quoted on the back of the set

(for "The Being") "A rare find. Grab some friends to watch this." - badmovies.org on the being

idk, thought it was cool.

I actually noticed that on the regular Being DVD when I purchased it.  It's part of what brought me here.

Yep, I noticed this a few weeks back when I picked up the set at Best Buy.  I seem to also remember Andrew posting it about it a few weeks back.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Torgo

I wish I had known that they would repackage The Being in one of their 3 packs.  I paid 7.99 for it alone when it came out and I could've gotten the 3 pack for 14.99 instead about a year and half later.

Oh well.

I got a kick out of seeing that on the cover when I first picked up the DVD (like Torgo, the single disc version).  It's happened a handful of times now and is another one of those things that keeps me motivated about writing.

Those three-movie packs are great deals.  Jordan from the B-Movie Film Vault mentioned that he didn't really like "Creatures from the Abyss," which is one I found above average in its entertainment value.

Keep meaning to work on updating the review for "The Being" (it was one of my first).  When I do, I'll make sure to preserve those words in some form (they actually spliced together two different sections of the review), just so I'm not making it look like the DVD company was making stuff up.

That was one of the main reasons I bought the set.  I also wanted to see Creatures from the Abyss. I like seeing the review and then seeing how the company changes it a little to sound better.
