Icons of Horror: B-Movie Fighting Game

It'll never happen, but let's put together a roster for the ultimate horror fighting game for s**ts and giggles. It would be done in the Marvel Vs. Capcom style of three-on-three tag battles set in various levels as backgrounds. Each character has basic punch, kick and toss moves, but let's throw out ideas for special moves each character would have unique to them. Even if someone else has already added a character, feel free to offer up your own special moves or variant takes on the character should you so feel inclined.

Jason Voorhees: special attack - Jason zips up his opponent in a sleeping bag and smashes them against a wall, tree or other item in the stage, finally impaling them on his machete to end it.

Freddy Krueger: special attack - Freddy transforms into the giant "Freddy Snake" and proceeds to devour his opponent.

Pinhead: special attack - Pinhead summons giant meat hooks on chains that come from all sides of the screen and either skin his opponent or tear their body into pieces.

Leatherface: special attack - Leatherface does one of his berserker chainsaw dances and bisects his opponent.

Ash: special attack - Ash impales his opponent on his chainsaw, then proceeds to use the Necronomicon to open a portal that sucks the opponent into oblivion.

Evil Ash: special attack - Evil Ash runs his opponent through with his sword, then summons an army of skeletons up from the ground to drag the opponent down into the earth.

Reggie: special attack - Reggie kicks his opponent in the junk, then blows off their head when they fall to their knees.

The Tall Man: special attack - Tall Man summons a ball from off screen that zips across the screen, injuring the opponent before finally boring into the opponent's head and blasting out of the back.

The Creeper: special attack - The Creeper grabs his opponent, tears off their skin, then flies them off-screen. We later see the fleshless corpse fall from the top of the screen and slam against the ground.

Mike Myers: special attack - Ripping his opponents arm of and bludgeoning them to death with it.

The Fly (new): special attack - Vomiting on opponents face then sucking it off

So, how much disk space do we have?

David Lincoln - Weapon: Submachine gun. Special: Summons The Marquis or one of the other waxworks to fight for him. Finisher: turn a defeated opponent to wax and melt them

David Lo-Pan - Weapon: One of the storms' swords. Special: Force lightning Finisher: A green lightning storm from the sky

Willard Stiles - Weapon: The pointer from the 70s version, the broom handle from the 2000s version, or... the gun from the novel. Special: Ben jumps the opponent and begins taking constant damage until shaken off. Finisher: All rats swarm the opponent at once, esting them

Andre Toulon (PM 2, where he was evil, or PM 5 where he was Decapitron) - Special: Takes on partial form of one of the puppets and fights as him/her. Finisher: The puppets teamwork the opponent and kill them

Jerry Dandridge - Special: Turns into a bat. Finsher: Biting the opponent's head off

Chucky - Special: Jumps on an opponent and mauls them. Finisher: Transfers his soul

The Leprechaun - Weapon: His cane. Special: barrage them with gold! Finisher: Makes them blow up, or something weird like that

Brother Bob - Weapon: Large knife. Special: Try and hit them in the monster truck. Finsher: Tear off all the opponents' limbs

Robocop - Weapon: That huge gun. Special: a brutal punch combo. Finisher: a good stab with the data-spike "You lose, creep"

Neon Maniacs - Weapon: Depends on the maniac. Special: Bring the scavengers in to wound the opponent. Finisher: Bring the other Maniacs in to massacre him/her

Corky Withers - Weapon: Whittling knife. Special: Bash the opponent with fats. Finisher: whittle them down into a puppet-oid form and throw them into Lake Melody.

Frank Hawkes - Weapon: Crossbow. Special: Get the others to run the opponent down in the van. Finisher: Get Fatty and Preacher in to beat the opponent to death. If the opponent is female, then he brings in Skaggs.

Herbert West - Special: summon a zombie swarm. Finisher: Inject opponent full of reagent, turning them into a zombie

The Master - Weapon: the hand/cane thing. Special: Call in the brides to sloppily torture the opponent. Finisher: Incinerate the opponent with his burning hand.

Plan 9 Alien - Special: Initiate Plan 9, getting Lugosi, Johnson or Nurmi to fight for them. Finisher: Initiates Plan 10: A giant octopus emerges from the ground and swallows the opponent whole

Walter Paisely - Weapon: Frying pan. Special: Cover opponent in clay, slowing them down. Finisher: brings in Audrey II to eat the victim

Dialogue: Hey I'm not Seymour Krelboine! Krelboine: And I'm not Jack Nicholson

Those are all cool Khaz and Mr. B! A couple more that came to mind:

Pumpkinhead: finisher - Pumpkinhead grabs the opponent, smashes their head into the ground several times, then folds them in half, snapping their spine.

Dr. Edward Pretorious: finisher - Dr. P summons a swarm of other-dimensional insects to swarm his opponent and pick them to the bones. Alt finisher - Dr. P grabs hold of his opponent, melts them into slime and absorbed them into himself.

Castle Freak: finisher - Castle Freak beats his opponent with his shackles before leaping onto them and tearing out their throat with his teeth.

Jack Deth: finisher - Jack guns down his opponent. The opponent's eyes glow and they scream, falling to the ground and disintegrate, leaving a big burn mark in the ground while Jack lights a cigarette and says, "I hate squids".

Dr. Gangreen: finisher - Dr. G summons a wave of killer tomatoes to envelope his opponent and leave nothing but a skeleton behind.

Dr. Carl Hill: finisher - Dr. Hill's head sprouts bat wings and flies off of his shoulders, laughing as large intestines explode from his torso, strangling the life out of his opponent. Maybe it could finish with their eyes popping out of their head.

Spider: finisher - Spider pulls out a bat and cracks his opponent in the head, then turns around to see something off-screen, screams, and runs in the other direction while the Tar Man runs in shouting "BRAINS!" and proceeds to chomp into the opponent's head.

Definitely the Ymir. He should do the normel monster moves and fight. The special treat is of course, that the Ymir is immune to any pointed weapons (like knifes, meat hooks, etc.), because after an initial attack he just mangles the opponent. Afterwards the screen trembles and a demanding off-screen voice proclaims: "DO NOT POKE THE YMIR!!!"

I had the same kind of idea for such a game a long time ago, with most of the characters I thought of already mentioned. 

I also think this game should have The Crow in there someplace.

Indeed D-Man! He could summon up a flock of crows to peck his opponents to parts as his finisher, much like the finale to City of Angels... uhm, the Crow one, not the Nicholas Cage one... though that might've actually made that movie worth watching...

I remember also coming up with a plot in my ideas for it, a basic one...it involved there being a tournament in hell, and Pinhead would be one of the main organizers, and thus an unlockable boss character.

Luckily I watched John Carpenter's "The Thing" last night 

The thing would, of course, appear as another character, maybe the double of who (what)ever it was facing, distinguishable by its attacks of tendrils and ribcage teeth. Special attack would be the ol' head turning into a chomping maw, extra special would be transformation into towering monstrocity, completely absorbing opponent.
When defeated, head would split off and skitter away.

You might also want to consider Poltergeist's Rev. Caine. Ethereal hand smacks, thrown debris, and WURMS! Finisher could be devouring tree or big roaring skull.

Speaking of ghosts, let us also not forget Candyman. Rusted hook swipe, bee swarm, good times.

Some off the top of my head:
Brian Flagg
Fighting style: Street fighting, and of course he uses a ratchet set
Fatality: He would crack the victim in the head with his trusty ratchet, looks up offscreen and runs as The Blob falls on and eats the dazed victim

Lionel
Fighting style: He'd use whatever tools/weapons were in the arena
Fatality: Pulls out the lawnmower and chops the victim to bits

Burt Gummer
Fighting style: Uses lots of guns and bombs
Fatality: He places one of his remote control bombs on the victim and a graboid devours him/her, then Burt detonates the bomb, killing both

Ginger Fitzgerald
Fighting style: Quick and nasty, lots of clawing and biting; Bridgette randomly interferes
Fatality: She tackles the victim and tears open their throat

The Brain
Fighting style: Uses illusions to confuse the opponent
Fatality: It grabs the victim by the neck with its spinal cord/tail and swallows them whole

Seth Gecko
Fighting style: Uses guns and assorted incendiary devices (ie toilet paper roll soaked with lighter fluid)
Finisher: He runs through the victim with his jackhammer-mounted wooden stake

Bonus Stage: Your character must fight off hordes of any of the following: zombies, Killer Shrews, Slug People, C.H.U.Ds, Killer Klownz from Outer Space etc.

THE THING-special attack, throwing smaller versions of itself onto enemy.  little creatures that can suck energy or power depenind on button configuration.

Frank Zito-from the slasher Maniac, kind of a weak character, but as he attacks his opponent his rage bar fills up.  once maxxed out he can perform a insane slashing combo.

Deadly Spawn- ver similar to Shuma Gorath from the marvel super 2d fighters from capcom.

Gremlins/mogwai-  start off as gizmo or random mogwai but as you begin to loose the match he gestates into a full blown gremlin.  fast, agile, agressive but kind of weak powered.

Crite-from the movies Critters.  pretty much uses its ball attack and gnashing teeth to attack is enemy.

these are my picks you guys have some good ones too!
