Fight For Your Life (1977)

     Now that we've had enough blaxploitation to get empowered,  by 1977 we are ready to  take the next logical step: whitesploitation!  the evil racist boss and slave master from films like "Mandingo"  is now a criminal on the run, along with a pair of chinese and mexican stereotypes.   So it's actually , I don't know,  othersploitation.  A boring middle class Cosby Show like black family with a sassy granny has the bad luck of meeting them.  What follows is a preposterous battle of racist name calling, stereotyping,  rape and murder.  In the commentary one of the guys says "Did you just try to use every awful thing you could come up with?"  to which the director responds "...there WERE lists..".  It's a sordid attack on civilization, christianity, and well it's just very very wrong.  I laughed quite a few times and felt guilty for doing so. 

      Fight for your life was not a big hit upon release.  I'd say the reason is it uses the sort of "tenement" / "assault on Precinct 13" / tense shots of the same place for an hour type of thing and it takes a little longer than most attention spans to get going.  But when it does it is in full on crazyland.  If you are in to blaxploitation enough to get started on the second tier, you need to see this.

It's a wild little movie, definitely worth a look...I hear Sanderson leaves it off his resume

Oh yes. Pretty nasty little exploitation flick. The movie seems to be made to make white people even more feared and hated among other ethic races.
