I had no idea that Michael Pare was still working in film often, but a check of his IMDb profile shows he started getting prolific again a few years ago.  I've just missed seeing those films.

When a number of brutal and suspicious deaths occur in and around a maximum-security prison, detective Michael Turner (Michael Pare) is brought in to investigate.

But what begins as just another suicide investigation quickly unfolds into a furious and frightening struggle to uncover the unexplainable, while escaping death at the hands of a vengeful spirit unleashed within the prison walls.

I see Tom Sizemore in there too, another guy that let drugs take him down.  I remember posting a story here about him cheating on his court mandated drug test with a fake penis sewn to his boxers.  He was living in a friends garage somewhere in LA.
