from netflix reviewer

"SHORT BUT SWEET BOUND AND GAGGED SCENE IN "DEATH AT BARGAIN PRICES" I swear I saw the same scene when I was very very small. I guess The Avengers were syndicated on tv when I was 3 years old or 4 or 5 or 6 years old. THIS HAS A BOUND AND GAGGED SCENE IN HER CATSUIT IN "DEATH AT BARGAIN PRICES" AND SHE IS IN A CATSUIT!!! BOUND AND GAGGED IN A CATSUIT!!!"

he has nearly 500 other reviews, some in german and spanish.

At first I thought that this thread must be talking about that god awful movie version of The Avengers that came out 9 years ago.

The only reason I went to see this turkey in theaters was to see my woman Uma Thurman in a leather body suit on the big screen.

Yeah, shallow reasons to be sure.   :tongueout:

Man, I wanted to gouge out my eyes with a butter knife about a 1/4 of the  way through. The movie made absolutely no sense in a ton of scenes and the bad part was that they did have an interesting visual take on the movie in terms of updating it to late 90's modern times.

Don't quite know what the deal was with the giant teddy bear suits that Sean Connery makes himself and the henchmen wear at a particular meeting but oh well.

wow she looks hot in that thing.  I forgot about that movie.  the review was for the TV show from the 60's

The Avengers movie was horribly mis-marketed.  All they needed to do was say:
"Uma Thurman.  Leather Bodysuit."  :buggedout:

I would have definitely gone to see it then.

The TV show is actually good, the 98 movie version will make you want to punch yourself in the nuts for 90 minutes straight, despite how insanely hot Uma is in it.
