At it's very best, this move resembles a really out there shaw brothers  movie.  My general impression was an arty mess made even more unfortunate by a decent budget.  The big Bad Wolf of Little red Riding hood fame and his naked, masked girlfriend hate a teeange prince Valiant and his friend "poor man's Mel Gibson".  I don't know why.  that's about all I can report.  Would make an exceptionally good MST3K episode or mini-frisbee.

Actually Conquest is Deathstalker's Quest for Fire in a Land that Time Forgot with delusions of being Clash of the Titans but really managing only to appease (barely) Vulcan God of Fire.

It could have been worse.  It could have been an Sci-Fi 'original' movie.

The only thing that Fulci's Conquest is remembered for (other than putting the final nail in the coffin that was left of his career after New York Ripper) was the whole part where the split a woman wishbone style by spreading her legs until she is split in half.  Could have been a memorable scene if the effects weren't so awful.

didn't he do that in another movie though?
